Building a more resilient future for our islands
Ecological transition is at once an environmental, economic and territorial challenge.
For Mauritius and Rodrigues — small island territories with limited resources and a heavy dependence on imports — making better use of available resources, protecting ecosystems and developing local solutions is a necessity.
At Mautopia, we believe this transition must become an opportunity for the territory: reducing pollution, preserving natural resources, strengthening the resilience of our islands and contributing to new economic activities and new jobs.

Our story
Knowledge built in the heart of the Indian Ocean
Founder of Mautopia
Mautopia was founded in 2024 by Grégory Martin.
Before creating the agency, Grégory spent nearly ten years working on cooperation between Mauritius and Réunion, in contact with public, private and institutional stakeholders across the Indian Ocean.
That experience built a deep understanding of regional economic and institutional dynamics, and of the mechanisms needed to bring together multiple stakeholders around environmental projects.
